Is the show cancelled if it rains?
No, we do not cancel the show, plan to bring waterproof clothes if the weather is menacing.
Do you refund the tickets?
In accordance with the article L 121-20-4 of the consomption code the tickets are not subject to a right of withdrawal. All orders are firm and final.
What are the hours?
The village opens at 6pm, access to the grandstand is from 9.15pm and the show starts at 10.30pm. Go to the control before 10 p.m., the queue can be long!
Is there anything new this year?
The show is always evolving, some years more than others. In 2023, there was a brand new 20-minute scene, the action of which takes place in the 14th century. More info here. In 2024, we will mainly refine this new scene, and add some pyrotechnic effects.
Where is the best place in the grandstand?
The site is on a natural amphitheater, you can fully enjoy it no matter where you are. The Stage is 8000m2. Some prefer to be in front and others in the back. It's very much a matter of taste. Obviously, the stands Meriadec, Alain IV, Guethenoc, and Raoul have a more central position.
Is the show suitable for children?
Due to its duration (2 hours + waiting time), the fact that it takes place outdoors and at night (weather-related risks), we do not recommend the show for children under 5 years old. For older children, be aware that certain scenes in the show present tragic periods in our history, which may offend the sensibilities of certain people (Wars and repressions).
What are the conditions for children?
The entry is free for children under 5 years old, however you must purchase a ticket for your child to have a place. The price is reduced for 5-11 year olds. For safety reasons, strollers and prams are prohibited in the stands. You will have to leave them in our stroller parking lot, a covered and guarded place. We provide helmets and booster seats free of charge, in exchange for a deposit. Whatever the weather during the day, bring warm clothes.
